| Exploring Law Enforcement. |
The Madera County Sheriff's Explorer program is
designed to give young people, from the age of 14 to 20,
an inside look into the exciting, challenging, and ever
changing career of Law Enforcement.
Explorers are trained in the diversities of Law
Enforcement. Explorers attend Leadership and
Emergency Response Academies, Local, State and
National Explorer Competitions and Conferences.
Explorers also go on patrol ride-along, as well as
perform numerous civic, community service programs,
and fund raising events.
